So let me share my experience. I bought a phone from Flipkart a few months ago. Recently the phone stopped working the thing I noticed that the phone has a faulty battery once I identified the problem I rushed to the nearby service center.
Now how can you find the nearest brand authorized service center? For that, you may need to call the brand’s helpline number. You can also visit their official website to get service center locations.
Assuming that you have the service center location info with you. Now, what next? As we all know, to claim a brand warranty, we must have a valid invoice.
Where to find a valid invoice?
The brand doesn’t accept the invoice that comes with the parcel. You can generate a valid invoice by logging into your Flipkart account. Go to the order section and then go and select the product whose invoice you need. You will get an option called request invoice click that, then you will get an invoice on your registered email ID.
Now login to your email ID and find the email with the invoice as an attachment. Take a printout of it.
Now proceed to the authorized service center
Discuss your problem with them. If any parts replacement is required, then it will take a week or more. (Depending on parts availability)
They’ll give you a service invoice to keep this with you. Next time, when you visit the service center to get the serviced phone, they’ll ask for the service invoice. Moreover, you can track the service status with the help of this service invoice number.
Once repaired, you’ll get a call from the service center where you’ve submitted your phone.
